Artist's Bio

Jeff Hammond is a freelance photographer from Bloomington Indiana, who thoroughly enjoys working with a wide variety of commercial clientele to produce the artwork they need. Whether working with a large corporation, an educational institution, a not-for-profit, a small business or a sole proprieter, the goal is the same - produce what the client needs and make it easy as possible for the client.
Seems simple, right? We think so, but that seems to be unusual these days. For your next project or event, give us a call and enjoy the same kind of partnership our clientele experience on a daily basis.
In addition to the kinds of product and event work you will find in this site, Jeff's work has appeared in a number of publications in editorial, advertising and feature article capacities. Some of the magazines in which his work has been featured are Outdoor Indiana, Bloom Magazine, Long Weekends, AAA, Sea Ray Living, Kentucky Monthly, Women in the Outdoors, Cincinnati Magazine and Ohio Magazine, various books and in numerous newspapers from Bloomington to Denver.
He also has several performance images featured in the book "Bringing the World to Our Neighborhood: The Lotus World Music and Arts Festival," which debuted in July 2005.
In addition to creating images such as these, Jeff serves on the Board of Directors for the Bloomington Photography Club, for which he also serves on its Programming and Special Events Committee. He is a member of the North American Nature Photography Association (NANPA), Hoosier Outdoor Writers and Western Outdoor Writers. He leads photography outings for various groups, provides presentations to clubs and other organizations and provides volunteer services for Big Brothers & Big Sisters and the Bloomington Volunteer Network.
In his spare time, he holds Federal and State banding permits which have allowed him to volunteer as a station leader for four years of the Project Owlnet Northern Saw-whet Owl banding project in the Yellowwood State Forest in Brown County, Indiana.
